We went for dinner at Nanban this evening, a Japanese soul food restaurant from MaterChef winner Tim Anderson.
We started with the salmon kake-ae and the yaki-imo which was baked sweet potato in ponzu butter.
We then ordered the tuna poke to share which looked amazing topped with vegetables, crispy gyoza pastry and flowers. It came with a side of rice, miso soup and pickles.
I loved the KFJ which was marinated deep-fried jackfruit with honey-miso mayo.
