We headed into town after work today and grabbed dinner at the newly relocated Japan Centre.
The new shop has a cafe, so you can eat in, and lots of the dishes had been reduced, so we picked up a selection to tuck into.
It was Happy Hour when we arrived and the sake was half price, so we ordered the fanciest sake which came served hot with gold flakes in the bottom.
We had pumpkin and prawn tempura sushi rolls, vegetable gyoza and some prawn balls on a stick.
We picked up some cakes from Ole & Steen for dessert aftwerwards.
We tried a truffle log, caramel puff and peanut butter pie slice. Each was delicious!
We then went to see Three Billboards Outside Of Ebbing, Missouri at the Haymarket Empire and it was a really good film. It reminded us of Twin Peaks and True Detective.
We had one coupon left from the Lumiere London Cocktail Trail which we decided to use up at the Terrace Bar in the Méridien Piccadilly.
We had a whisky based cocktail and nibbled on playing card shaped crackers.
