Duncan & Alex treated us to brunch at Tribeca as a birthday present this morning.
I had waffles with Reese's peanut butter, washed down with root beer, which was amazing!
It may have been a little too much sugar for one morning though, because Tom ended up convincing me to take a nap when we got home and ended up waking up with only 2 hours left to finish our costumes for the evening, make a present and bake cookies.
First up, I baked a batch of gin & tonic eat me sandwich cookies.
Even though I was still stitching minutes before the big surprise, I managed to finish my teacup fascinator just in time for the party.
Tom dressed up as the Mad Hatter with his teapot hat and it looked like he was pouring tea into my fascinator.
Louise had been told to be at Haymarket Station, where Adam dressed up as the white rabbit ran circles around her saying "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date" until she started following him.
We were all waiting downstairs in the Mad Hatter for her, ready to shout surprise.
There were cocktails in teapots, Eat Me cupcakes made by Adam and croquet which was lots of fun to play.
