Breakfast smoothies are the best and I mixed this one up with a banana, oats, peanut butter and yogurt. It was so easy and tasted great.
Just as we were starting to feel puppy withdrawals, Keava & Rosa invited us for brunch, so we headed down to Carlops to pick them up and bring them into town.
Keava needed to pick up some mosaic supplies from Hobbycraft and I wanted to take a look around, so Tom was tasked with cuddling Sammy while we shopped. They looked so relaxed when we got back.
Hemma in Holyrood is dog-friendly so we decided to go there for brunch.
It was really nice inside with comfy sofas and hipster decor. I liked their window covers made from slides and I spotted a poster for their craft night which featured a project from CO+K on it.
Tom and I shared a plate of French toast with salmon and cream cheese. I'm glad we didn't order one each because the toast was gigantic.
We also ordered a side of potatoes which were the tastiest potatoes I've ever eaten. The puppies were so well behaved while we ate breakfast.
We said goodbye to Keava, Rosa & the pups and headed home to work. It might have been Monday but there were cocktails to be made for Trotter's so I whisked up some blackcurrant negronis with their jam.
