We went for lunch at The Safari Lounge this afternoon, a hipster jungle themed dive bar near Meadowbank.
It was very hipster inside with giant animals, safari print and neon signs. Even the toilets looked like they were from a safari.
There were loads of intriguing sounding things to try on the menu but Mum & I decided to share the vegetable korean buns and some goats cheese cigars. They were both really tasty and Tom's eggs royale looked amazing too.
The Auld Reekie Roller Girls were having their first bout of the season, so we took Mum along to see them play.
They were playing Cambridge and won by a lot. It was really fun and I can't wait for the next bout!
