We felt like a walk after work so we drove up to the Pentland Hills Regional Park and walked up the hill through the forest.
It felt like the perfect home for squirrels and other animals but we didn't spot anything at all.
Above the forest were moors filled with heather. There were signs to warn us against sheep worrying but we didn't spot any sheep grazing in the fields.
At the top of the hill there was an amazing view over Edinburgh and we could see all the way to the castle even though it was really hazy.
