Tom and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary today and I couldn't resist surprising him with the watch he's been wanting for ages.
We don't usually swap gifts on our anniversary as it's so close to Christmas and Tom wasn't prepared so he helped me to fire a cat ear headband charm.
It was so much fun using the blowtorch.
In the evening we headed out for cocktails and nibbles at Harvey Nicol's, where we felt a little out of place when two tables around us asked to try the wine before the waiter poured it.
We had winter warmer cocktails, nuts and chips. The cocktails seemed so strong and we were really tipsy after two.
Afterwards we went for dinner at Ting Thai Caravan, a super hipster thai street food restaurant where the dishes are served in take-out boxes.
We ordered the hake, bubble beer shrimp and garlic noodles to share. Im not usually a fan of cooked fish but the hake was baked perfectly and the beer shrimp were amazing.
I also ordered the ginger and lemongrass juice which came served in a little bag.
