My parents arrived very early in the morning, so after a long lie in, we headed out to a couple of press days with my Mum while my Dad went off to the artilery museum.
Our first stop was the Aminaka Wilmont press day at the Bray Leino press office on Carlisle Street.
We were then off to The Savoy for the Essence Communication press day.
It was great being able to see inside the hotel, which was very luxurious. The designers were fantastic too with collections including jackets from recycled kimonos, paint by number dresses, gorgeous shoes, wetsuit beachwear and stunning couture from Bora Aksu.
We then went for a drink at The Narrow which is a Gordon James Ramsay pub on the waterfront. The view was pretty and then Dad joined us on his way back from the museum.
We were getting hungry, so we headed to YO! Sushi at Farringdon, where they had extended the Blue Monday promotion to Thursdays as well, so every plate was £2.30.
We were really hungry so munched our way through a tall stack of plates including pumpkin koroke, California hand rolls, kaiso salad, sashimi and multiple servings of nori.
