It was the menswear day of London Fashion Week today and our first appointment was the Sibling presentation. There were awesome panda balaclavas.
It was then time for the Mr Start presentation at One Aldwych where we tried not to giggle when admiring the clothes in a room full of male models standing as still as statues.
I then had my press appointment with MAC Cosmetics where I asked them to give me golden smokey eyes like Angelina Joelie had in The Tourist. It took over an hour but they did a really nice job. They also gave me a bag of goodies to take away.
Our final show was Cassette Playa which was sponsored by Ken (as in Barbie & Ken). The clothes were flamboyant and some of the models were painted gold. The goodie bags had Ken dolls which you could record your own message on to.
They also had awesome Barbie and Ken taxis outside of Somerset House. I like the back windows.
In the evening we headed to Jalouse, a club with a super sparkly ceiling for the launch of a new perfume. The cocktails were really strong, Grazia didn’t even manage to finish hers.
Afterwards we ran up to Camden to catch a bit of the Colin Macintyre gig. An old man pointed out to us that if he looked like Colin Macintyre, he wouldn’t put his face on the flyer.
We then ran off to see True Grit at the Odeon and it was really good!
