We woke up in a rainy Atlantic City this morning and drove along the shore to Seaside Heights, where they film Jersey Shore.
It was so rainy that nothing was open, not even the sweet shop that promised it was open all year round.
We discovered a Circus Drive-In restaurant but it was closed for the season.
We did manage to get some crazy Twin Towers squished pennies though.
We then crossed the state line in to New York where we drove through the Bronx and out the other side. We'll get to spend some time here before we leave.
We then crossed in to Conneticut, our 43rd state.
We stopped for dinner in New Haven, where Yale University is based.
We went to Claire's Corner Copia which was a cosy little vegan restaurant.
We had vegan bacon cheese burgers which were really good and came with a tasty pasta salad.
We then checked in to our hotel where we played spot the difference with the two paintings above our beds.
