As we got near the top, it started to resemble the Grand Canyon. We wandered in to the middle of the huge lava pit.
We then drove towards the big rocks, so we could climb on top of them. Jesus was doing the same.
We then drove to the top of the volcano which resembles the moon. Dad told us that they used this landscape to test the moon buggy before taking it in to space.
There was some snow on the ground, so we had a mini snowball fight.
We drove down the other side of the mountain which was very misty and creepy.
At the bottom we hit Porte de la Cruz, which was a very pretty town.
We walked through the square, which was really pretty and there was a nice dog.
We went for lunch at El Bosquecillo and I had an omelette.
Afterwards we went for a walk by the sea. Tom made friends with the locals and took lots of arty photos with my camera.
Afterwards we walked down the steps to the shore. The waves were crashing violently against the rocks.
We had a look in the rock pools while trying not to slip on the green algae. There were hundreds of fish in one.
There was a little alter buried high up in the rock wall. I've seen so many of these throughout the holiday.
We found Tom his ideal cereal in the supermarket.
