Today we went for the Happy Hour in Blue Sushi's Bomber lounge. We started off with $3 margaritas which were really tasty.
The sushi was incredibly fresh and the best we've ever tasted. We started with a plate of salmon and tuna maki rolls.
We tried two more selections of sushi each including Blue Balls which were filled with crab and Crunchy LA maki which was the best!
I then had a S'more Martini which was made with toasted marshmallow infused vodka and had a crumbled cookie rim. Some other diners asked what it was because it looked so tasty.
It's happy hour all day at Blue Sushi on Sundays so we headed along again today to try some different things on the menu.
We started with the lump crab cakes, then we had scallop tempura lollipops and then we shared several plates of maki rolls. It's so good that you have to say yum with every mouthful.
For dessert we shared a chocolate spring roll, which was so amazing it made everyone sitting near us gasp and ask what it was. I also had a cherry cupcake martini.
As it was the 4th of July today, Blue Sushi were doing Happy Hour all day.
This week we got to sit downstairs and watch the sushi ninjas making our food.
It was amazingly delicious as always. As we ate, we discussed our USA plan and how we're going to tackle seeing all of the states. The plan so far is that we'll learn to drive and see all of the states in the middle while living in Omaha and then do one big road trip at the end and see all the states around the edges.
