Tonight was Google's Edinburgh Whiteout party for the City Experts at The Pompadour. We were handed cocktails with candy floss when we arrived and made our way in to a gorgeous snowy room with an oyster bar for everyone to try.

We were sat at big tables for the meal with gorgeous centrepieces inside bell jars and menus which we could cut into snowflakes. It felt a bit like we were at Google's wedding.

The meal was incredible with scallops, a delicious fish (which I still haven't worked out what kind it was) and a selection of mini treats for dessert.

There was also a giant cake which looked like the Scott's Monument and tasted like gingerbread, though we felt so guilty when they cut into it.
