We then went for a look around the newly refurbised museum.

We were sad to see they had taken out the fountains and the fish but they had kept my favourite room with all the hanging animals the same.

I'm looking forward to have a proper explore when we move here next month.

We headed up to the roof on the museum to see the amazing view over Edinburgh.

It's so nice finally living here after all the days and weekends we spent visiting in our teens.

We then headed to the roof of the National Museum of Scotland to give everyone an amazing view over the city, which lasted for all of 10 seconds before a heavy rain storm blew back inside.

We stopped off to see Dolly The Sheep, a Lego model of the Forth Road Bridge and I even managed to squish another penny for my collection.
